A barrel fermented wine with an equal blend of two of the most interesting white wines - Chardonnay and Viognier - hence its name, Mitad | Mitad. The unique blend combines green apple, pear and citrus flavors found in less ripe chardonnay wines with the lighter flavors of stone fruit (peach and nectarine) found in viognier wines. On the palate, the wine is dry with hints of vanilla and creme brulee. Aged in first use French oak barrels for 19 months.
