A classic rendition of Uco Valley’s foundational grape.   In the glass it’s deep purple with a garnet-colored rim, reminiscent of a Rothko Chapel painting.  An intense bouquet of ripe plum and blueberry, with a hint of new leather.  The expressive palate brings layers of fruit, peppery spice, and oak. Beautifully balanced acidity and silky tannins create a luxurious mouthfeel and long pleasant finish. One of life’s simple pleasures.
