Nancy's Red Sangria
- 1 Orange, round sliced
- 1 Lemon, round sliced
- 2 Limes, juiced
- 8 Cloves
- 1 stick of cinammon
- 1 750ml full bodied red wine (AWI C/S, Gran Corte or Malbec)
- 3 ozs Cointtreau or Triple Sec
- 3 ozs Brandy
- 1 1/2 cups Granulated sugar
- 1 Club soda (to serve, if desired)
In a large pitcher or storage container, add all the ingredients except Club Soda. Stir well and refrigerate until well chilled.
Pour into wine glasses and serve. If desired, add some Club Soda first to the glasses. Do not recommend adding Club Soda to the whole mixture as it will tend to go flat.
Recipe can easily be doubled, triple, quadrupled…..
